Area Served
Meriwether County Fire Rescue covers a response area of 506 square miles, delivering both fire and EMS services to the community. The department safeguards approximately 23,000 residents and is the county's exclusive ambulance provider, responding to all emergency and non-emergency calls.
Equipment
The department operates a fleet of six ALS transport units, with four in continuous 24/7 service. Meriwether County Fire Rescue is committed to providing efficient, effective, and professional public service to all residents, workers, and visitors in the county.
Need Smoke Alarms?
Meriwether County Fire Rescue has partnered with the American Red Cross in an initiative to help install smoke alarms inside the homes of citizens of Meriwether County. This initiative is to help us better preserve and protect the life and property of the people of our community. Our goal is to have every home installed with working smoke alarms.
